Bristol City Council have asked landlords who are considering serving a notice on their tenants to contact them first on private.renting@bristol.gov.uk. They say that they can put measures in place to prevent homelessness being created from the outbreak.

Supermarkets such as Sainsbury’s and Iceland have announced that they will open for the first hour for the over-70s only.
