My work in 2020 for Bristol West

As we enter the New Year, my priorities set out in the Queen’s Speech debate remain the same. I want the Conservatives to reverse ten years of cuts to schools, council budgets, health services, police and fire services.

I will also push for a properly funded Windrush Compensation Scheme, to help those who have been treated discracefuly by the Tories. The government’s inaction on the Windrush scandal means that in 2020 there are still people in Bristol West waiting for compensation. They must get the compensation they are entitled to.

I will continue to campaign for the rights we have had as members of the European Union. For instance, musicians and artists must be able to continue to tour overseas in the same way as they do now. We must not lose the cultural and intellectual exchange with our nearest neighbours.
