I wish good luck to everyone getting A level and BTEC results today.

Throughout the pandemic I’ve stayed in  touch with schools and the City of Bristol college, and I’ve been inspired by how students, staff and parents worked through difficulties and supported young people to keep learning.

I know getting to results day has been tough and I’m so proud of everyone for how they’ve pulled together.

Thanks to all the teachers and school staff who have worked so hard.

I know our schools and colleges are on hand to give advice to students and parents about next steps and I wish everyone luck for the next stage, whatever that turns out to be.
