I am concerned about the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office’s decision to cut Overseas Development Assistance and the negative effects that this will have on ongoing and new projects in Bristol West.

You have written to me with your concerns about how your organisation or research programme is already facing consequences, and some that are at risk of imminent termination.  It will remove funds working directly to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and also will put many UK practitioners in a difficult position – particularly those that are committed to equitable partnership and mutual trust with their partners around the world.
