Rosie's Post: the NHS and the cost of living at uni

Hi, we are the first time voters for Labour in the Bristol West constituency! We’ve set up this blog so we can talk a little bit about some of the issues that we care about to young people in a similar position to us. Hopefully you will find it interesting and helpful for when the time comes to put a cross on your ballot paper!

I’m going to uni next year, and it’s not the tuition fees but the living costs that I’m worried about. Labour are going to work to bring living costs down, which will have a huge impact on society, through methods such as freezing the costs of various utilities.

Preventing the NHS from being privatised is also hugely important to me, as the NHS is one of the things that makes me feel proud to be British and is an incredible service for all of us who live here.
