Incident in Easton Sunday 19 June 2016 - request for information

I've spoken to police today about a serious incident which took place this morning in Easton, Bristol:

The police have informed me that around 4am this morning they were alerted by ambulance service to an incident outside the Jolly Roger pub in All Hallows Road, Easton. Ambulance and police records show they were on the scene within minutes of the alert.

A young man has been taken to hospital with abdomen wounds. He is in a serious but stable condition and his family have been notified.

The police are following up every possible line of enquiry. Road blocks have been kept to a minimum and the atmosphere in the area is positive but obviously concerned.

If you have ANY information at all about this incident, please call 101 immediately.

If you are concerned for your own safety and wish to discuss it with me first, please send me a private message with your phone number and I will call you back.

I urge everyone to remain calm - this is a difficult time and we need to pull together to keep ourselves, our children and our city safe. Please let the police know whatever you know.

I will update this post when I get any new information.

I will remain in regular contact with the police.
